RODNEY MARSH, "PRICELESS"

Rodney Marsh was one of THE stars in the NASL.  Although his autobiography, "Priceless," does not focus exclusively on his NASL career, it does provide interesting insight into what life was like for him when he starred for the Tampa Bay Rowdies.  This book is a great read and very entertaining.  I got my copy cheap, on Amazon.

"PLAYING FOR UNCLE SAM" by DAVE TOSSELL

This excellent book by David Tossell gives a history of American soccer from the viewpoint of the British players who came over to play in the NASL.  The book is full of great stories and interviews with some of the big names like George Best, Rodney Marsh, and Phil Woosnam.  I got my copy in London a few years ago but I have seen it on amazon.com. You may have to put in some time to find a copy but it's worth the trouble.
